Known for the bouncy basslines on his house tempoed productions and high profile remixes; Chew the Fat and We Love... @Space resident Foamo has rapidly become a key player at electro house nights in and outside of the capital. Wielding a style that can blend with acts as varied as Fake Blood, Roska and Untold he’s kindly put together a mix for us ahead of his Room One appearance this Friday to mark both that, and the recent release of his ‘Ocean Drive’ single.
It’s the third track to be released for public consumption from Foamo’s ‘Summer Series’ on Chew The Fat – it’ll also be included on an 8 track mega EP set to be out later on in 2011. “It’s another summer vibed track,” Foamo tells us. “It’s named after the Ocean Drive hotel in Ibiza where i started writing the beat while waiting for my lift to the airport.”

His 50 minute mix features plenty of high energy original material meshed with classic Foamo vocal interludes . The excellent take on Breakage and Jess Mills ‘Fighting Fire’ is definitely of note as a testament to Foamo’s production ability.
